Researchers at the newly launched REC@NUS Corporate R&D Laboratory for Next Generation Photovoltaics will develop and commercialise cost-effective ultra-high-efficiency large-area solar cells that offer energy conversion efficiency of 30 per cent or more. Photovoltaic products resulting from this project will be well suited for urban environments like Singapore.
