Johnson Professor of Surgical and Medical Oncology, professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and co-leader of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Research Program at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, led the international trial as co-principal investigator.
