Top image (IMAGE) Aarhus University Caption A large part of the green house gasses emitted by agriculture comes from the cows belching. When the cows break down the plant fibres from the feed in their stomachs, they produce methane gas which they belch up. Some preliminary results show that different types of feed can reduce how much methane they belch. One of the most promising types of feed is algae. Credit Jesper Rais, AU Kommunikation.
