Researchers Jeremy Guest, right, and Yalin Li led a team at the Center for Advanced Bioenergy and Bioproducts Innovation (CABBI) that designed a new wastewater treatment system for biorefineries that process plants into fuels and bioproductsl. The system can efficiently treat water and recover valuable biogas energy, enhancing the economic and environmental sustainability of biorefineries.
