BasePairPuzzle: A 3D-printed molecular model to teach nucleobase pairing (IMAGE)
Caption
Researchers from Japan developed a new molecular model that uses embedded magnets to accurately mimic hydrogen bonds in molecules. The model, named “BasePairPuzzle”, is meant to help students easily understand base pairing and other complex topics such as DNA point mutations and the structure of the double helix.
