Pseudomonas bacteria are toxic to amoebae

Bacteria of the genus Pseudomonas produce a strong antimicrobial natural product, as researchers at the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology (Leibniz-HKI) discovered. They proved that the substance is effective against both plant fungal diseases and human-pathogenic fungi.
