Delivery of pMATING by P. putida to soil bacteria microbiota in vivo

A natural soil sampling point was inoculated with P. putida, the donor bacteria carrying pMATING plasmid with a fluorescent tag. The plasmid was successfully traced in the bacterial soil isolates or the recipient bacteria. The entire experiment continued for up to 35 days with sampling of soil bacteria at different time points.
