Urban built-up heights were plotted across the United States as part of a new global atlas released by a research group that includes Iowa State University associate professor of geological and atmospheric sciences Yuyu Zhou. A visualization tool for the relative built-up heights in each 1-kilometer square grid is available online at https://go.iastate.edu/JSL4UP.
