After nickel-rich cathode materials were modified by the ionic conductor, both particle and structure show their stability in response to the granular cracks and structural phase transition. Such atomic scale modification throughout materials governs the performance of nickel-rich cathode materials for Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), as well as determining the efficiency of clean energy and underpinning the development of many electronic devices.
