Supercritical CO2 Compander

R&D World Magazine recognized SwRI and Hanwha Power System’s Integrally Geared Supercritical CO2 Compander as being among the 100 most significant innovations for 2022. The compander was created for a 10 MW-scale concentrated solar power (CSP) supercritical carbon dioxide (sCO2) plant application. It converts thermal energy from a heat generation source, such as CSP, to electrical energy.
