Animation made using MegaSDM, which shows species range changes with dispersal constraints for Franklin’s Ground Squirrel from 2010 to 2070. “With the more biologically accurate dispersal-constrained animation, you can see (in blue) that the species range does not expand through time nearly as much as with the dispersal-unconstrained animation,” said Shipley.
