Vanessa Wyche, director of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, and Rice University President Reginald DesRoches signed an extension of the long-standing Space Agreement Act between the institutions on Aug. 19. Here, Wyche presents a plaque to DesRoches that incorporates an American flag flown on the SpaceX Crew-1 mission, which included astronaut and Rice alumna Shannon Walker.
