Naval Junior Officer Counsel (NJOC) Director Lt. John-Rex Spivey (left) discusses NJOC with an attendee at the 34th Surface Naval Association Symposium earlier this year. NJOC is a management advisory group designed to bridge the communications gap between junior and senior leaders. It recently launched a new online discussion tool — called the Acceleration Series — for sharing ideas, insights and concerns with senior leadership.
