‘Smart’ window coating invented by NTU Singapore scientists blocks heat without blocking views (VIDEO)

Enjoying a clear view out of the window while keeping the sun’s heat out is possible with a ‘smart’ window material created by an international research team led by #NTUsg. This technology could help cut the energy required to cool and heat buildings – an improvement from current electrochromic windows – by blocking infrared radiation from the sun while allowing visible light to pass through at a flick of a switch.
