A researcher recovers a seismic imaging sensor during the UT Austin-led scientific cruise, offshore New Zealand, 2018. The sensors helped Brandon Shuck, a graduate student in UT Jackson School of Geosciences at the time, create detailed geologic images of the newly forming subduction zone.
