Soybeans and Bees (IMAGE)
Caption
Even though soybeans are not thought of as being dependent on pollinators, a recent study finds that soybean plants are still attractive to bees. The study also found that the presence of pollinators was associated with larger soybeans. Here, a carpenter bee is seen on a soybean flower at a study site.
