How air puffing facilitates flight behaviour (IMAGE)
Caption
This graphical abstract shows that air puffing facilitates sound-evoked flight behaviour by enhancing the auditory response of auditory cortical neurons. The anterior part of the anterior cingulate cortex encodes the valence of air puffing and modulates the auditory response through its direct projection to the auditory cortex.
