Penn State Researcher Shows End-of-life Game Spurs Advance Care Planning (VIDEO)

End-of-life planning can be scary, but encouraging people to think about and make those decisions is the basis of "Hello," a conversation card game designed for 3 to 6 players. Lauren Van Scoy, assistant professor of medicine and humanities at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, conducted a study to see if playing the game encouraged participants to start making advance care plans.
