Salt (IMAGE) Arizona State University Caption Whales, which live longer than most mammals on the planet and have a much higher percentage of body fat, should be more likely to develop cancer. Yet their cancer rates are remarkably low. This phenomenon, known as Peto's Paradox, is investigated in a new study and may provide tantalizing clues for addressing the disease in humans.
