After 10 minutes at room temperature, the sample is placed on a magnet and the extraction buffer is aspirated. The STOPCovid reaction is added to the beads, and the sample is heated to 60 C. For lateral flow readout, after 80 mins, detection strips are dipped into the reaction. For fluorescence readout, after 45 mins, the reaction can be interpreted using a fluorescence reader.
