Macrophages Engulf Cancer Cells in Solid Tumors

In the Discher lab experiment, human macrophages were engineered to ignore the 'don't eat me' signal both healthy and cancerous cells exhibit. Combined with cancer-specific targeting antibodies, these engineered macrophages invaded and engulfed human tumor cells in a mouse model.
