In a recent study, researchers generated MCF-7-xenografted tumors in BALB/c nude mice and pre-treated them with tamoxifen to understand the mechanisms underlying the tumor-promoting effects of photoinitiators. Results are presented as the mean ± SD (n=5). *p<0.01, #p<0.01, $p<0.01 indicate the significant differences from the control (DMSO treated) group. * indicates a significant difference in the photoinitiator (50) + Tam (0.5) group. # indicates a significant difference in the photoinitiator (50) + Tam (5) group. $ indicates a significant difference in the photoinitiator (50) + Tam (50) group.
