Neal Iverson, Iowa State University (IMAGE) Iowa State University Caption Neal Iverson, an Iowa State professor of geological and atmospheric sciences, worked with a team of Ames Laboratory engineers to develop a machine that can simulate how glaciers slide across their beds.
