Biomarker Discovery for Early Pancreatic Cancer Detection

Proteins corresponding to over 100 high expression pancreatic cancer cells genes were analyzed in the blood of pancreatic cancer patients and healthy subjects using two proteomic techniques, antibody-based proteomics and LC-MS / MS-based proteomics. As a result, IGFBP2 and IGFBP3 were identified as early pancreatic cancer biomarkers.
