Mechanism of HDO-dependent gene expression regulation (including unpublished data) (IMAGE)
Caption
This figure illustrates the putative mechanism of Toc-HDO-dependent target RNA gene expression regulation. Double-stranded Toc-HDO is recognized by ANXA5 and CA8. Although its mechanisms are not yet fully addressed, Toc-HDO might be cleaved or dissociated in the cytoplasm. Generated parental ASO from Toc-HDO then translocates into the nucleus where RNA expression is regulated by functional duplexes (ASO:RNA).
