DesignSafe is a web-based research platform that provides the computational tools needed to manage, analyze, and understand critical data for natural hazards research. In 2017, it assisted engineers with post-hurricane reconnaissance in Texas, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean and inspired the developed of a new tool to predict which houses will flood during a major tropic storm.
