Pressure and Brine Laboratory Testing at the Center for Geologic Storage of CO2

The Center for Geologic Storage of CO2 at the Prairie Research Institute – University of Illinois, a newly funded Energy Frontier Research Center, will use fundamental and basic scientific principles to investigate existing storage technology gaps, to define usable, near-term solutions. The Center will develop, test, and validate models and methodologies using data from current and previous carbon storage demonstrations and new laboratory experiments.
