fRMI Experiment (VIDEO)
Caption
Subjects were placed in an fMRI and told to fixate their vision on a central dot. Before the start of the session, they memorized a specific target object. During the session, a stream of images appears in various parts of the screen. When their target object pops up on the screen, they press a button. Throughout the session, active brain regions were recorded. Animated GIF here: http://newsroom.cumc.columbia.edu/blog/2015/07/15/brain-network-that-controls-redirects-attention-identified/
