Scientists Receive CPRIT Grants for Lung, Kidney Cancer Research

With a new grant from the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas, Dr. Jie Zheng, professor of chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Teas at Dallas, will focus on developing a material, based on gold nanoparticles, that can achieve high contrast in both computerized tomography and fluorescence imaging of kidney cancers.
