Numerous Circular Openings of Burrows on the Surface of a Limestone Bed

This bedding surface was once the surface of the sea floor, which was densely colonized by unidentified animals that lived inside these burrows. The sizes of these openings range from a few millimeters to 1 cm, suggesting that these animals were relatively large.
