Students play an active part in Yu 'Frank' Yang's Molecular Environmental Science Lab. Yang, an assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and his team has found a potential way to reduce in the environment the presence of triclosan, an antimicrobial that is also linked to problems with antibiotic resistance.
