Investigators at Duke Medicine and the University of California, San Francisco have been selected to oversee a nationwide research program on antibacterial resistance, directing the allocation of a $62 million federal grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Vance Fowler, Jr., M.D., M.H.S., professor of medicine at Duke is co-principal investigator of the network.
