These transmission electron micrographs show viruses of soybean bradyrhizobia, which are beneficial bacteria that provide the soybean plant with the nutrient nitrogen. A new $6 million National Science Foundation grant supports a research team's study of viruses and microbes. The team is led by the University of Delaware's Eric Wommack.
