Dmitri Litvinov in Center for Nanomagnetic Systems (IMAGE)
Caption
Dmitri Litvinov, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering and of chemical and biomolecular engineering in the Cullen College of Engineering at UH, uses an ultra-high vacuum thin film synthesis to make magnetic materials that are then used to create giant magnetoresistive sensors for identifying new medications and providing fool-proof cancer diagnoses.
