Tristychius Reconstruction (VIDEO)

UChicago scientists used CT scanning technology to capture images of the Tristychius arcuatus fossil while it was still encased in an ironstone rock nodule. The researchers then used 3D modeling software to reconstruct the skull and jaws to understand how it moved and fit together.
