Tumor cells were treated with curcumin (50 μM) and PGV-1 (0.8 μM) for 24 hr, and then subjected to Mitotic spread assay (upper panels) and Giemsa staining (lower panels). PGV-1 treatment markedly arrested tumor cells in the prometaphase stage (M phase) of the cell cycle.
