A team led by Princeton researchers has discovered unexpected behaviors in a quantum material known as a kagome lattice, a crystal structure named for a Japanese woven basket pattern. This video shows the energy evolution of the charge order in the kagome superconductor observed by a scanning tunneling microscope.
