Vertical distribution of the Tibetan Plateau water vapor budget at each boundary and net budget and their linear trends in summer 1979-2019

Caption

The water vapor import in the middle and lower layers of the Tibetan Plateau mainly comes from the southern boundary, whereas the water vapor import in the upper layer mainly comes from the western boundary. The water vapor budget at 400 and 500 hPa changes significantly at each boundary.
