Measurement arrangement: due to limited space in the laboratory, the gait analysis was performed on a treadmill to enable collection of data throughout multiple gait cycles. To keep the attention of the dog for obtaining consistent gait data without unrelated head movements, the owner of the animals was positioned in front of the treadmill with a treat. The data collected is the spatial coordinates of the markers visible on the animal's body measured by the motion capture system.
