Youth in detention (IMAGE) Northwestern University Caption The Northwestern Juvenile Project, is a longitudinal study of youth who were newly admitted to juvenile detention. The researchers conducted face-to-face interviews with more than 1,800 youth over a 16 year period to ascertain the health needs and outcomes of youth in the juvenile justice system.
