Annotated mosquito feeding behaviour (VIDEO)

High-resolution videos of mosquito feeding behaviour were analysed using computer software that broke down and precisely annotated the various elements of mosquito behaviour and biting pattern into specific activities. Subsequent experimental and statistical analyses revealed that both of these changes tripled transmission efficiency.
