The new platform was developed by researchers at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in order to understand how blind people move and orient themselves in space. In the future it may become a serious game able to rehabilitate blind people’s orientation skills. The video shows the virtual reality game with a comment (in Italian) by Luana Bucchieri, a volunteer who participated to experiments: “In many years of collaboration with IIT I have been discovering so many nice things, abilities and sides of me that I knew so little or not at all, or that I needed to learn how to use. IIT researchers were my help, the discovery of being able to do things thanks to technology.”
