The upper panel shows the location of the visual sensory thalamus on high spatial resolution MRI data. The more yellow the colour the more participants have the visual sensory thalamus in this position. The lower panel indicates that information about the amount of white matter can be used to dissociate the two compartments of the visual thalamus.
