The Little Foot skull extraction from flowstones of the talus cone in the Siberberg Grotto, Sterkfontein Cave, South Africa, as of July, 2001. This image relates to article that appeared in the 08 December 2006 issue of the journal Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. J. Walker, University of Leeds in Leeds, UK and colleagues, was titled "U-Pb Isotopic Age of the StW 573 Hominid from Sterkfontein, South Africa."
