Shown approaching completion, the finished Lucy spacecraft has arrived at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center for final preparations before the 23-day launch window opens Oct. 16. The SwRI-led NASA mission to Jupiter’s Trojan asteroids will travel 12 years and 4 billion miles to fly by a record eight targets, including seven Trojans.
