MSU Associate Professor Nicolas Yunes has received an $815,000 NASA grant to test Einstein's theory of general relativity using observations of colliding black holes, in preparation of the 2034 launch of a space-based gravitational wave detector. For the grant, Yunes will collaborate with Emanuele Berti, a physicist at the University of Mississippi.
