This is the experimental setup in the field: Manduca sexta, eggs and a predatory bug that has just arrived; all are located on the bottom of a tobacco leaf. This image relates to an article that appeared in the Aug, 27, 2010, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. Silke Allmann and Dr. Ian Baldwin of Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology in Jena, Germany, was titled, "Insects Betray Themselves in Nature to Predators by Rapid Isomerization of Green Leaf Volatiles."
