Radio Club of America honors Thomas Marzetta (IMAGE)

The Radio Club of America will award the 2019 Armstrong Medal for lasting contributions to wireless technology to Thomas Marzetta, originator of Massive MIMO antennas that underpin 5G. Marzetta, a professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, was recently named director of the research center NYU WIRELESS; his predecessor received the medal last year.
