The diversity of body forms among crabs, including the enigmatic Callichimaera perplexa (center). This material relates to a paper that appeared in the April 24th, 2019, issue of Science Advances, published by AAAS. The paper, by J. Luque at University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB, Canada, and colleagues was titled, "Exceptional preservation of mid-Cretaceous marine arthropods and the evolution of novel forms via heterochrony."
