This is a visualization of the fusion process of a small lipoplex with the endosomal membrane. Only lipid headgroups are shown as small sticks (blue: lipoplex, red: endosome). When fusion is completed, all DNA (yellow/pink rods) are transfected to the other side of the endosomal membrane.
